Kord is version control for engineering documents, built by Pipedreamer, Inc. for the hardware teams that ship a base design to many customers and sites.
What Kord is
Kord is GitHub for engineering documents: version control, visual diffs and structured review sessions for whole document sets - Word and PDF specs, Excel calculations, P&IDs and drawings, STEP models, submittal packages - with an audit trail tied to release, and AI checks that catch a value changed in one document and left behind in another.
Who it is for
OEMs, technology providers, EPCs and modular equipment companies that customise a base design per customer or site and deliver it as iterative submittals. If each project forks a standard document set, review happens over email and marked-up PDFs, and nobody can say exactly what changed between Rev C and Rev D, Kord is built for that workflow. It sits between file storage (SharePoint, Google Drive, Egnyte, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, your own S3) and PLM; it replaces neither.

Kord is made by Pipedreamer, Inc. The product runs at work.withkord.com; this site, withkord.com, is where we explain it. AI agents can work with a team's documents through the Kord MCP server.
